What's Included

The Process

1

Glass Prep

Every window gets a thorough clean and decontamination pass. Adhesive won't bond correctly over dust, oils, or residue — so this step doesn't get skipped.

2

Film Cutting

Your vehicle's window patterns are pulled from our cutting system database and plotted precisely. Each piece is cut to fit your exact make, model, and year before we ever touch the glass.

3

Application

Film is applied with a slip solution, positioned accurately, and squeegeed flat from center to edges. Edges are tucked and sealed so there's no lifting down the road.

4

Inspection

We check every panel in natural light for bubbles, debris, and edge adhesion. If anything isn't right, it gets corrected before we call it done.

5

Cure and Handoff

We walk you through cure time expectations — typically 3 to 5 days depending on weather — and hand you a care card with window operation instructions so the film sets properly.

Is This Right For You?

Window tinting is a strong fit for anyone in the Pittsburgh area who's tired of baking in their truck or SUV during summer, dealing with sun glare on the I-79 commute, or watching their interior fade and crack from UV exposure year after year. It's also a practical choice for families who want added privacy and shatter resistance without changing how the vehicle looks from the outside.

Common Questions About Window Tinting

Yes, with restrictions. Pennsylvania law requires front side windows to allow at least 70% light transmission, while rear side windows and the rear windshield have no restriction for non-commercial vehicles. We're familiar with PA tint law and will let you know exactly what's compliant for your vehicle before we start.
Most cars and SUVs take 2 to 3 hours. Larger trucks or vehicles with more complex rear window shapes can run a bit longer. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you get your quote.
We recommend keeping your windows up for at least 3 to 5 days after installation. Rolling them down too soon can peel the edges before the adhesive has fully cured. In colder Pittsburgh winters, give it the full 5 days.
Yes. We work carefully around defrost grids and do not cut across them. Your rear defroster will function exactly as it did before — this is one of the most common concerns we hear and it's a non-issue when the job is done right.
Yes. Jim brings all the equipment needed to your driveway in Hampton Township, Allison Park, McCandless, Shaler Township, Ross Township, Gibsonia, Fox Chapel, Cranberry Township, and the surrounding North Hills. You don't need to drop your vehicle off anywhere.
