What's Included

The Process

1

Free Quote & Vehicle Assessment

You reach out, we ask a few questions about your vehicle and its current condition. This helps us give you an accurate quote and flag anything — like heavy swirling or oxidation — that needs to be addressed before coating.

2

Decontamination Wash

We start with a thorough two-bucket wash, then run an iron remover across the paint to dissolve metallic fallout. A clay bar follows to strip anything still stuck in the clear coat. The surface has to be completely clean before anything else happens.

3

Paint Correction (as needed)

Ceramic coating locks in whatever is on your paint — good or bad. If there are swirl marks, water spots, or light scratches, we correct them before coating so you're sealing in clean paint, not flaws.

4

Panel Prep & IPA Wipe-Down

Every panel gets wiped down with isopropyl alcohol to remove polish residue and surface oils. This step is critical — it's what allows the ceramic to chemically bond to the clear coat properly.

5

Ceramic Coating Application

The coating is applied one panel at a time using a ceramic applicator block. We work in sections, allowing the coating to flash before leveling it off with a clean microfiber. Rushing this step causes high spots — we don't rush.

6

Cure & Final Inspection

Once fully applied, the coating needs time to cure and harden. We do a full inspection under LED lighting to check for high spots, missed areas, or any streaking before we hand the vehicle back to you.

7

Aftercare Walkthrough

Before you drive away, we walk you through exactly what to do — and what not to do — in the first 7 days of cure. We also give you care instructions so the coating lasts as long as possible.

Is This Right For You?

Ceramic coating is a strong move if you're driving a newer truck, SUV, or sedan and you want to protect that factory finish before Pittsburgh winters, road salt, and highway tar have a chance to do damage. It's also a great fit if you've already invested in paint correction and want to make sure that work holds up for years instead of washing away in a few months.

Common Questions About Ceramic Coating

That depends on the coating tier applied and how the vehicle is maintained afterward. Most professional-grade coatings last anywhere from 2 to 5 years with regular maintenance washes. Cheaper spray-on sealants sold at auto parts stores are not ceramic coatings — they last weeks, not years.
No. Ceramic coating adds hardness to your clear coat and makes the surface more resistant to light marring and chemical etching, but it won't stop rock chips or deep scratches. If chip protection is your main concern, paint protection film (PPF) is the right product for that.
It depends on your paint's current condition. Ceramic coating is permanent — it seals whatever is underneath it. If your paint has noticeable swirl marks, oxidation, or water spots, those should be corrected first. We inspect every vehicle before coating and will let you know what we find.
A full ceramic coating service typically takes one full day, sometimes into a second day depending on the size of the vehicle and the level of paint correction required. Yes, you'll need to drop the vehicle off — this isn't something that can be rushed or done in a parking lot.
For the first 7 days, keep the vehicle dry and avoid washing it — this allows the coating to fully cure and harden. After that, regular maintenance washes with a pH-neutral soap are all you need to keep the coating performing well. We'll walk you through everything before you leave.
